First Forte Commodities was established in 2008 by Jonathan Warshawsky. Jonathan brings 30 years of energy-related operational, trading and financial experience, having held senior positions at Marc Rich Glencore, TNK-BP and advisory roles at global top-tier trading houses. First Forte was established to fill a void and create value for crude oil stakeholders who are either new to the physical crude oil markets, having invested in upstream assets that are now in production, or simply new or existing contract holders who historically have not obtained the best market value for their cargoes or are simply lacking the experience and relationships to further advance their business. Our speciality is the ability to be highly agile and utilise our personal relationships and good standing in the market. Our preference is always to eliminate the middle man and transact with end users who lift the barrels directly from source and deliver to the point of sale at the said refinery. The same goes for product supply. We are familiar with all the global refiners and blenders. We lift from tank to the end user markets.

 

Sadly the market is well supplied with people who have been in the market for a while that have zero experience, but feel they have conquered trading and know what is real and what isn't. We have a zero tolerance policy and only deal with experienced professionals who are well known and have a clean and long track record in the market. If it sounds too good to be true it isn't genuine.
